Mathias Rouanez

Brilliant colours and repetitive forms

Mathias is the younger brother of Michel Rouanez and paints in a similar, yet somewhat different style.

He, too, has been influenced by the works of his father, Dieudonne Rouanez, and he brings a fresh, vibrant look to his creations.

The colours are brilliant and the use of repetitive human forms, created with a well-defined edge are intriguing and inspiring.

Most of Mathias' current work is around market scenes in Port-au-Prince, Pétion-ville and other areas of Haiti
